Traveling with pets requires a fair amount of planning. Hotel policies vary wildly and it may be difficult to find suitable accommodations. Furkot can make this process much easier.

Start by modifying your lodging preferences to indicate you intend to bring a pet on your trip. You can do that when creating a trip or by changing settings in the Trip drawer after the trip has been created.

When you select the travel with pets icon, Furkot will automatically suggest pet friendly hotels when scheduling overnight stops.

To facilitate searching for hotels Furkot will favor hotels with pet friendly policies in the Sleep drawer. If you need to cast a wider net to find a suitable hotel try the search options button to explore: over the map, around the selected stop, and along the route.
